About BR2 Property Solutions

Owner-run out of Hillsboro on his own trucks, trailers and machines — dirt, rock and demolition across Jefferson County and St. Louis County, with the person who quotes the job running the machine on it.

01 The short version

The person who quotes it is the person who runs it

Bryer Rowden learned this work on his father’s machines before he learned it on his own, which means he was reading ground long before he was running a business — what soil does when it is wet, how far a slope can be cut before it stops holding, and where water actually goes rather than where it looks like it should.

What he has now is his own. Trucks, trailers, and the compact excavator and track loader that appear on the company logo. Not rented for the week, not shared with two other outfits — owned, maintained, and on a trailer behind his own truck when the job needs them.

The customer base came the way it does in this trade — one job at a time, mostly by word of mouth. The reviews bear it out: one of them is somebody who had him back for a second project.

  • Owner-run from Hillsboro, MO — the estimate and the work are the same person
  • His own trucks, trailers and machines
  • Residential and small commercial ground work across two counties
  • 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, weekends included

02 How it works here

What owner-run actually changes

“Owner-operated” is on every contractor’s website and mostly means nothing. Here are the three places it makes a concrete difference to you.

01

The number does not move on day one

The person who walked your ground and quoted it is the one who then has to do it inside that number. There is nobody in the middle quoting optimistically to win the work and leaving a crew to renegotiate once the machine is on site.

02

Decisions get made where the problem is

Ground work throws up surprises — rock, an old footing, a buried line, a slope steeper than it looked. When those come up, the person who can decide what to do is standing in the hole rather than being phoned about it.

03

You are not scheduled around a fleet

One owner with his own equipment can take a job on Saturday because Saturday is dry. That flexibility is most of the value of seven-day hours in a trade where a wet week moves everybody’s calendar.

03 The machines

Two machines, and why it is those two

A compact excavator and a compact track loader. It is not an accident that those are the two on the logo — between them they cover almost everything a residential or small commercial job needs, and both are small enough to actually reach the work.

The excavator digs, lifts, breaks and places: trenches, drainage runs, footings, rock, stumps, demolition. The track loader moves volume, grades, carries and hauls, and because it is tracked rather than wheeled it will cross soft ground and a lawn without leaving ruts you then have to repair. Between them, one trailer trip does the whole job.

Bryer’s own line is that the equipment is new and professionalised. The practical version is boring and useful: the machines start, they are on site when they should be, and a two-day job does not become two half-days a week apart.

04 Where to find us

Everything we have online

  • Google. The Google Business Profile is where the four reviews and both job photographs live, under “Excavating contractor”.
  • Facebook. The page is where new work usually appears first.
  • Yelp. A claimed listing under Landscaping, Excavation Services and Tree Services, with “Excavation” and “Trench digging” verified — and no reviews on it at all. It also has a typo’d phone number on it. The right number is (314) 698-0887.
  • Nowhere else. No Instagram, no TikTok, no BBB page. If you find BR2 on a directory site, it is a scrape rather than something we put there.

Payment: cash, Zelle, Venmo and PayPal — all four are listed on our own Yelp page.

Talk to the person who will do the work

One call, one owner, one number. Tell us the address and what the ground is doing and Bryer will come and look at it. Estimates are free, and repeat customers get 10% off.
